It was a pleasure to see Cheryl Herrmann again at our meeting again.
Her dad was Light Heavyweight Johnny Colan .Who will inducted into the NYSBHOF this year.
Johnny’s record was 60-19-1 with 27 KO’s
That’s 8 fights a year for 10 years.

John served on the Ring 8 Board for years.

Got a surprise call 2 days before our meeting from Keith Providence.
A 1988 National GG Champion who defeated John Scully in Omaha.
In 1988 he won the NY Daily New GG CHAMPIONSHIP
As a pro Keith went 9-2 5 KO’s
It was a pleasure to meet him at our meeting.
He is starting a WEB SITE
He will talk about it at the next meeting.

We thank CUT MAN Richie Schwartz for taking the long drive down to our meeting.
When the bell rings and you have 60 seconds to stop the flow of blood
Richie Schwartz is the guy you want in your corner.
Richie is also a large boxing memorabilia collector.
