On Sunday, December 19, 2010, Ring 8 is celebrating its Annual Holiday Event and Awards Ceremony at Russo’s on the Bay, located at 162-45 Crossbay Blvd, Howard Beach, NY 11414, 718-843-5055, from 12:30pm until 5:30pm.

Tickets are priced at $125.00 per person.

There will be a SILENT AUCTION of boxing memorabilia. Donations are greatly appreciated.

This show is expected to SELL OUT quickly.  For favorable seating, please remit early.

R.I.P. – Lou Raino

Longtime Ring 8 member Lou Raino has passed away.

He will be at the Lloyd Funeral Home located at 214-43 – 39th Ave., Bayside, N.Y. funeral home 1-718-229-2420. Visiting will be on Sunday, November 21st, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm

Lou sat on the Board of Directors for many years . . . He was invaluable in planning the Holiday Party . . . His brother, Tino Raino, a former middleweight, was Financial Secretary and beloved Ring 8 member.
